ReRoof Watch is a sole proprietorship operated by Justin Elder in Lebanon, Tennessee. This page explains what personal information we collect through reroofwatch.com, what we do with it, and your choices. Questions or requests: [email protected]. What we collect
- Free sample form: your email address, the metro you chose, and the date and time you submitted it.
- Paid subscriptions: payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, and subscription status from Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Emails you send us: the contents of your message and your email address.
- Basic hosting logs: our host, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. We don't store your IP address with your sample-form submission.
We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.
How we use it
- To show or send you the sample report you asked for and to send occasional updates about ReRoof Watch. Every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe.
- To deliver and bill your subscription and answer your questions.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Business outreach
We may also email roofing businesses at business email addresses we find from public sources, to tell them about ReRoof Watch. Those emails identify us, include our mailing address, and include an opt-out link. If you ask us to stop, we'll stop and keep your address on a do-not-contact list so we don't email you again.
Permit data
Our reports are built from public government open-data portals. Permit records can include property addresses and the names of contractors or owners as published by the city. We use that public data to build the reports; it is not collected from you. We leave out owner names unless they appear to be an organization, and we don't contact homeowners. If you are a contractor or property owner and want to ask about how a record appears in our reports, email us. The original record stays with the city, and we'll remove what we reasonably can from our own reports.
Who else handles your data
- Cloudflare — website hosting, the form's storage, and email forwarding.
- Stripe — payment processing and billing.
- Google (Gmail) — the mailbox that receives email sent to our contact address.
- We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep sample-form submissions and email correspondence until you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe and we no longer need them. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in it, or email us.
- Ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within 45 days.
Children
ReRoof Watch is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for material changes, email our subscribers.
